Market analysis

The berry market in Kyrgyzstan is in its infancy period. Today, berry crops that used to be considered less common are gaining popularity: sea buckthorn, currants, raspberries, strawberries and others. Of course, “healing” or “wild” crops are becoming increasingly popular on the market. Sea buckthorn is a familiar berry in Kyrgyzstan and demand of which has returned in recent years and is gaining popularity due to its wide use in many areas, such as: medicine (used as a medicinal plant in tinctures and syrups), food industry (used as an additive, production of jams, oilcake and juices), cosmetology (oil and used in ointments), as well as landscaping in order to restore and preserve ecosystems of the local area (purification of lakes, rivers and saving of forests)
